There have been consistent responses lately being received on Instagram due to certain changes to appeal to younger users who may be inclined towards TikTok.
Content creators have been talking about getting less engagement on their posts because of the frequent changes, while regular users just want the app to return to its previous glory days when people actually saw posts of people they followed.?
The Kardashian-Jenners, Elon Musk, and many more have been using their social media handles to bring about that revolution.
Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner have joined in the call to spur Instagram to stop mimicking TikTok’s focus on video-oriented content and expect the Meta-owned platform to return to prioritizing photos.
Both sisters went on to post the same message for their 687 million mass followers on their IG Stories:? “Make Instagram Instagram Again.”
The post proceeded with these words, “Stop trying to be TikTok. I just want to see cute photos of my friends. Sincerely, Everyone.”
Many people have indicated their discontent about the changes on social media platforms and said that they want to see the posts they have signed up for, not random entertainment and recreation of the videos after videos on the trending audio.?

Instagram CEO Adam Mosseri released a video to acknowledge the growing backlash.
He stated about hearing a lot of concerns about photos and how they're switching to video. Furthermore,? he said he anticipates it and if the team is gonna continue to support photos. It’s part of their heritage. He does believe that more and more Instagram content has shifted to video over time. He said that even if they do nothing, everyone is gonna have to lean into that shift.?
