INTRODUCTION

KW- AgileTM BYPASS SUB is a set of switching sub that can be multi - activated and multi - deactivated. It is generally installed in special drilling assembly such as directional, accelerating, logging while drilling, etc. It can timely activated and deactivated bypass holes for special operations according to the requirements of downhole conditions, which enhances the patency of special drilling assembly, helps to improve production efficiency and reduce well control risks.

Advantages

Plugging can be implemented without POOH to shorten drilling cycle and reduce well control risks

The bypass valve automatically closes when the pump is shut down, reducing possible U-pipe effects or well control problems

It is not restricted by downhole tools, instruments, or bit nozzles, and can realize high flow rate cleanout

Tools can be installed at different locations in the BHA to optimize the structure of the string

Effectively remove cuttings beds in directional and horizontal Wells

Use History Instroduction

KW- AgileTM Bypass technology service is mainly used in Tarim oilfield, Qinghai oilfield, Xinjiang oilfield, Tuha oilfield, Sichuan and Chongqing block; As of December 2019, more than 100 Wells had been successfully applied.

A. Application of horizontal Wells (high temperature, high sulfur content and high density) more than 55 times in Xinjiang (Tarim, Tuha and Karamay);The maximum well depth is over 7,100 meters and the horizontal section length is over 1,000 meters.

B. More than 30 vertical exploration Wells, inclined Wells and horizontal Wells (high temperature and high density) have been applied in Qinghai region. The highest temperature is 230℃ and the density is 2.52g/cm3.

C. Shale gas projects in Sichuan-Chongqing region have applied more than 15 horizontal Wells.

D. 9 Wells in other regions (Eastern Hebei, Inner Mongolia).
