The?Communication and Information Technology Regulatory Authority (CITRA) of Kuwait published Resolution No. 297/2023 to stop the issuance of import and entry permits for telecommunication peripheral devices that operate only on second and third-generation technology for communications, or both, to the state markets. Telecommunications devices that operate only on 2G or 3G will be banned from importation and entry to Kuwait beginning September 1, 2023.
