?? Actual time saving of parametric design is when it comes to work revision part. For complex geometries, it takes 1/10 time in geometry revision compare to conventional tools.
In this small article, we have carried out work of one auditorium projects but it got stuck in structural design part due to instability of open lotus shape on auditorium, so we needed to close the lotus flower from above which took very less time in revision.
?? Symmetrical geometry of structure and circular theme made this parametric modeling very easy as logic to create the shapes was simple.
?? Structure has height of ?60m and planner diameter of ?60m.
?? Grasshopper V1.0
?? In first version the top structure was like open lotus
?? Incline beams are made by connecting point of columns[1-in] + columns[1-out] at certain heights and repeated the same for full seating area.
?? During the engineering, open lotus consuming too much material to make it stable.

?? In revision, we decided to close the lotus from top to have good load transfer mechanism.
?? When we did engineering, we found the geometry much optimized in material consumption.
