The beauty brand Kulfi recently expanded to all of Sephora North America. Here's what you need to know about the brand's growth and success:

  • Kulfi was founded in 2021 and only one year later, in September 2022, launched at Sephora.com becoming the retailer's first South-Asian-owned and inspired makeup brand.
  • In September 2023, the brand expanded into 281 U.S. Sephora stores and 59 Canadian stores.
  • In 2023 Kulfi's Kajal Eyeliner was Sephora's No. 7 pencil eyeliner collection and their Main Match Concealer was the No. 5 clean concealer on Sephora.com.
  • Last year the brand grew 350% year-over-year in the Sephora business.
  • The brand reports that Sephora U.S. sales make up 50% of its business, Sephora Canada 10%, and their own ecommerce site the remaining 40%.
  • Due to its success, the brand is officially expanding into every Sephora store in North America.
