Kuhn Fertilizer Spreaders The MDS Fertilizer Spreaders
The Kuhn Multi Disc System (MDS), fertilizer spreaders are made for distribution in orchards, gardens, mixed farms and fields.
The spreading discs are able to spread all types of fertilizer including: Fine seeds, and Slug pellets.
The fertilizer is placed exactly where it should be placed. Additional features that make the spreader to stand out from competition include:
1. Easy adjustment of the application rate using a D.F.C. scale.
2. An electronic outlet control that comes with an optional GPS headland management with section control.
3. Boarder spreading solutions to help avoid wastage at farm boarders.
Optimal Distribution
The spreading discs are adaptable to all spreading stages of your crops. At standard spreading, late spreading in high crops and at yield optimized field boarders.
The Multi-Disc System
MDS represents the highest precision in spreading of fertilizers. The vanes are adjusted in length and in orientation. The spreading discs are delivered as standard for working widths from 10 m to 18 m. The x vanes extend the spreading width to 20 to 24 m.
Accurate Application Rate Control
The Direct Flow Control scale, D.F.C. is easy to adjust giving you the desired application rate. Changing the rate of application from one field to another has been made easy. The opening position is modified by same percentage as the application rate. Increasing the opening by 10% translates to increase in the application rate by 10%.
Operations
1. Quickly and easily remove the disc without tools in a few seconds.
2. Install the guide channel.
3. Use the adjustment chart to identify the fertilizer.
4. Determine the outlet opening as per the chart.
5. Set the outlet opening on the machine.
6. Open the outlet while the agitator is in operation.
7. Weigh the quantity collected and calculate the new opening.
