In the Kubernetes release countdown till now we have discussed following enhancements in the upcoming release,
Today we will look at one more feature that is challenge when you've while using the Kubernetes cluster to fullest, yes, you got it right, when you're working with a big cluster with lot of services, you can be constrained with the number of internal IPs the service CIDR has to offer.
Multiple Service CIDRs is a net new feature in the release from sig-network group. The feature is a complete rework of how service CIDR used to handle internal IPs and has removed existing limits. There is a feature gate MultiCIDRServiceAllocator available which is disabled by default. This feature replaces the current allocation map in etcd and replaces it with new IPAddress object.
