Kubernetes Autoscaling

Kubernetes Autoscaling

Autoscaling in Kubernetes is a key feature that saves time, prevents bottlenecks, and avoids financial waste. There are three dimensions of autoscaling: vertical, horizontal, and cluster, each with their own benefits. Autoscaling is necessary due to the variability of application workloads and helps to strike a balance between performance and overprovisioning. It also automates the process of adding and removing capacity. When allocating costs for a Kubernetes cluster, autoscaling can complicate the process, but dedicating a namespace to each tenant can ease the administrative burden.
