KU Leuven | 5th HIW Graduate Student Conference
André Patr?o
Assistant Professor of History and Theory of the Built Environment at Emory University
The Graduate Student Conference has grown to become the biggest yearly event at the HIW. It is an extraordinary opportunity for students to share their research, receive feedback from Professor and colleagues, learn more about their fields and those other than their own. I was thrilled to benefit from this as one of the speakers this year, having presented my continuing research on the dialogue between Design and Metaphysics.
But the organizers also have a unique learning opportunity here. I was fortunate to be amongst them as well, responsible for the overall conference design: logo, posters, programmes, booklets (160 printed and handed out), and more. It was gratifying for me to do what I love, and I have no words to express the feedback received.
