KTL’s Go Green Litter Picking campaign, inspiring the next generation.
This St. Patrick's Day, KTL held a "Go Green Litter Picking Campaign" that coincided with Global Recycling Day. It was a powerful two-day opportunity to promote environmental awareness amongst our staff.
Peter Dwyer shared his experience of when he’s out for walks about the harsh reality of the increasing amount of litter he sees in hedgerows and on the sides of local roads.
This campaign resonated with him on the importance of involving future generations in taking care of the environment.
Peter's children's enthusiastic response to the KTL Litter Picker Packs perfectly exemplifies the potential of the campaign.
"They loved dressing up in the KTL kit," he shared. Their dedication even extended to a rainy afternoon, where "I couldn't get them home – they wanted to keep going!"
These moments highlight the power of engaging children in environmental efforts, by giving them the tools to help, it’s both an educational and fun!
Cristian Ionut Chiper, another advocate for the campaign, echoes Peter's sentiments. "This KTL Go Green Litter Picking campaign, for me, is about living a better life in a better world," he said.
KTL is fully committed to our environmental policy and creating a sustainable future. "Let's maintain a clean, litter-free space where we live, walk, drive, work, and play," urges Cristian.
By working together, we can make a difference.
