KSB Hospital could have been saved without being bought by OSF Healthcare and, like Titanic, made mistakes over the decades before 2025 which proved to be fatal. The institution made critical mistakes which proved to be the fall of a 125-year-old local hospital. The mistakes are too many to write here on LinkedIn, however the biggest mistakes of all came from the management decisions coming from Administration & The Board Room of the hospital. A failure like what KSB Hospital, Dixon, IL experienced in running an institution into the ground finically proved to be unfortunate. Hospitals in America always begin and end with its Administrations & Board Rooms and thus where the blame should be placed.

It is ironic that both disasters had one common problem which was All were caused by HUMAN MISTASKES and INFLUENCES of the times surrounding the organizations. All disasters were given warning signs which were discarded for many reasons, but the biggest reason was always MONEY. Titanic cannot be raised from the bottle of the Atlantic Ocean and used again for travel by people, however KSB Hospital has been given a lifeline bought by OSF Healthcare of Peoria, IL, May St Kathern Hospital fare better than what KSB Hospital experienced over the last 125 years in Dixon, IL. I am sure Judge Shaw and family would greatly appreciate their legacy surviving for decades to come.
