Krishna Conscious & Circular Economy aligned with ESG & Artificial Intelligence Technology
This Article is an attempt to allow reader reimage and discover a contrasting economic structure and compatible sophisticated technology solutions for sustainable living on this planet.
Today’s world is exhibits duality of good and bad, advantages and disadvantages. We have better amenities that help us have a life of convenience and comfort through many technological advancements, yes there are many people who don’t have access to such advantages, yet, considerable sections of the society are in a better situation when it comes to material advantages as compared to material advantages. There is a possibility for people to allow technology like AI to do the laborious work and use the saved time and energy for self-realization, self-transformation and God realization, community Upliftment and so on. ?However, the saved time and energy is being engaged in self-depleting activities as well and hence injecting collective consciousness with lust, greed, self-gratification, and many psychological and personality disorders such as depression, narcissism etc.
First let’s review the current scenario, let’s take consumer packaged goods (CPG) companies as an example. These companies strive to solve an increasingly complex equation to achieve profitable growth. The customers that is the consumer’s heads are likely spinning. Their context keeps changing and with it, their behaviors change thus impacting their buying behaviors/styles/expectations. ?
People/Customers are attaching to material things so that these articles provide meaning and define their identities and worst sometimes their purpose in terms of themselves and the nation. This bodily concept for identity and purpose add to the complexities and are bait for marketeers to lure more indulgence in thing that you might not need.
Whether it is a food and beverage, household goods, personal care, or apparel company, CEO’s stress levels today are no surprise since with the dynamic consumer behavior comes other associated challenges such record inflation, supply chain issues, labor shortages, global conflicts, climate change, and a potential recession.
The CEO has to be managing to grow sales and profit margins while chasing the changing consumer in an inflationary and challenging economic environment. The complication is that the current economic structure depends on the growing demand by consumers. While businesses need to continue to cater to their shareholders/investors at any cost and hence as you already know, that consumer companies are diversifying into new segments to ensure revenue stability and brand protection as a way to protect the interests of the investor/shareholder confidence in the market. However this is disconnected environmental and social agenda that could compliment better ?planetary conditions.
This entire scenario of demand (consumers) and Supply(businesses) in of a lower state of human consciousness further entangling ?the situation into various economic and political complexities. ?Desire for more than what is needed by a people, triggers overspending, addictions and so on, which are attributes of constant inflation, market crashes, economic downturn and so on.
Inflation’s root cause is demanding outstripping supply and Recession is the process of significant decline in economic activity spread across the economy. These are Two Extremes and are very different economic phenomena, but they are intrinsically linked. High inflation rates can indicate an impending recession, as businesses react to higher costs by reducing production and increasing prices. Customers do not know what is NEEDED and what is GREED, what is NECESSITY and what is LUXURY, what is BENEFICIAL and what is HARMFUL. ?For example, in the USA, the culture promotes the condition of debt and conditions people to spend more. The problem with inflation is that it also makes goods and services more expensive for consumers to afford the same quality of life. They have to spend more and work harder just to buy the same things. At worst, they struggle to afford necessities. And if the Federal bank takes action in the form of more rate hikes to curb rising inflation, there’s a risk that the move could help trigger a recession. Hence Both inflation and recession are linked and are extremes, and it will be beneficial if the consumer behavior is in the medium of the two extremes. There is call for a purified mind, transformed hearts and broadened consciousness which manifested into balanced life choices by the collective.
The collective mindset is full of complexities such as depression, anxiety disorders, including panic disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and phobias. bipolar disorder, and other mood disorders, jealousy, competition, inferiority complexes, superiority complexes, eating disorders, addiction and so on, which are again, Iam sorry to say, are all adding to vulnerabilities that give space to marketers of consumer brands to take advantage of and this is getting worse because each of these companies are backed by investors and also by those section of the society that creates artificially created scarcity for unfair economic practices. The Human race are heading towards a vicious cycle of anti-planetary non-sustainable resource-depleting situation. I wonder why people are surprised to find many talking about subjects like climate change and ESG but there is hardly any concrete action or noticeable transformation. It’s because of this truth that many would fear to clearly express and that is, that the current ways of economic structure is contradictory to the goals of ESG… the environmental social and governance preservation objectives. That is why it is challenge for many CEOs. For example, Can a cigarette manufacturing company follow ESG principles.? Common sense says NO because the purpose of establishing ESG policy is not about adhering to a bunch of compliances on paper to satisfy investors, it is about the business being actually aligned to values of ESG. Cigarettes create cancer-causing chemicals, other toxins, and greenhouse gases globally. Therefore, a Cigarette manufacturing has to shutdown to allow ESG principles to supersede other priorities. However, investors have to be satisfied with returns and Bogus ESG compliances. “Big tobacco” has secured a list of environmental awards which suggest the industry is a beacon of sustainability. This is simply outrageous!!
However, there is a contrasting economic scenario as well which can be aligned with ESG principles and can be embedded with Artificial intelligence technology to serve the objective of Sustainable Living and upgradation of human civilization and consciousness, AI can be used for human welfare and upliftment of civilization if it can give right warnings to humans taking a wrong route. However, for you to be able to comprehend and revisualize this, you need to prepare your mind to be unbiased and open, to be able to consume the following and logically join the dots for your own understanding.

Visionary and Spiritual Scientist and Master, A C Bhaktivendanta Swami Srila Prabhupada Founder Acharya of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) was successful in rehabilitating drug addicts who had been declared by several esteemed health specialists as an irreversible addiction and predicted an early death for many. With a scientific process the psychological illness of addiction was eliminated to result in visible Biological, physical, psychological and behavioral, not just shift, but actual irreversible transformations!!
Today In USA for example, many are part of small help and support groups where coaches and mentors work with a group of people who are addicts and are trying to get community support through group meeting, motivational speeches, affirmations and mind programming methods like NLP etc. to address the urges of a particular addiction such as alcohol, shopping, drugs, sex and many other types addictions. ?This usually fails over a period of time because the mind can be programmed but also be reprogramed and thus old addictions are back again, sometimes in the same form or a new one. The Mind need NOT to be reprogrammed but it has to be TAMED by its master... the intelligence and the soul. However, the mode of nature that traps the minds and dictates habitual patterns is not addressed in modern psychology or social constructs and hence the addiction comes back once the person leaves the group. This can be explained how manmade technology like Machine learning and artificial intelligence works. If Data is corrupt no matter what and how the machine learning the intelligence (artificially accumulated) will also be corrupt and inferior and hence leading to incorrect decision making.. Srila Prabhupada wrote that if you are not operating and deciding from an elevated level of Krishna Conscious you are crazy in a way.. and its seems it is true as explained in of example of cigarettes companies being ESG complaint! Lets get real !
However, the Scientific process of elevating lower states of consciousness to the highest, Krishna consciousness is not a work of just transforming the mind, the mind transformation is the result, the real work is way beyond that, the work is to awaken higher states of consciousness and levels of intelligence. Just to add, Mind is the subordinate of the intelligence which is the subordinate of consciousness and consciousness is the symptom of the Soul or spirit to the living entity in a physical body. ?When the human experience is through the mind that falsely considers itself as the master and is disobedient to its superiors, then mental complexities arise. The Mind need NOT to be reprogrammed but it has to TAMED by its master that is the intelligence and the soul. Like an elephant.?A mad elephant can be dreadful, while a trained elephant is a good friend of humans.
Srila Prabhupada looked to the future with a plan to build a model of scientific society that inculcated practical collaboration mindset to collectively benefit the residents of the scientific society. The economic basis of that society would not be to increase the artificially inflated wants of the body. The purpose of the economy in such society is not based on just eating sleeping mating and defending, that is done by animals as well. The Scientific society is integrating an economic structure for elevated and sophisticated human society. Quoting him” Our project is Krishna consciousness. This is Scientific Community, come here, live peacefully, keep your body fit, and work for yourself, produce your own food, Produce your own clothes. Don’t be very much anxious for artificial necessities. Save time and become advanced in spiritual life”
The economy created by the residents of this scientific society is based on 4 principles, no meat eating, no intoxication (caffeine or alcohol) no gambling and no illicit sex (sex only after marriage and within marital relationship is the right path). These principles are not restrictions but are regulative principles of freedom, leading to a superior lifestyle simulation on this planet to allow higher experience of life and better personal choices. A very important point to note is that these principles automatically eliminate multiple industry sectors which pose a great threat to physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing of human being and which ultimate sap human happiness. Industries such as meat industry, alcoholic/sugarful nonalcoholic/caffeine based commercial drink industry, Sex industry, Gambling industry.
This suggested economy is structured not to respond to inflated desires and sense stimulations, but to serve the needs of a conscious human whose desires are replaced by practical wants and intelligent choices (unsuppressed and natural). These choices which are aligned efficiently are to create the realistic experience of abundance and prosperity instead of limitations and scarcity as described above. Ideally, society should be organized so that families first produce for their own needs. Then they can sell any excess other identical community clusters at uninflated fair prices. This model could also allow circular economic values such as production and consumption of material which involves sharing, leasing, reusing, repairing, refurbishing and recycling existing materials and products for as long as possible. This economic structure of scientific communities can easily achieve wealth creation and circulation based on values of self-sustainability, environmental compatibility social advancements and hence actually support the real objectives of environmental, social and governance (ESG) principals.
Now let’s add another dimension to this, by including technology In this scientific society where Artificial Intelligence can make a significant impact is in promoting environmental, social and governance (ESG) practices and use AI technologies in superior education purposed to enhance human capacities and to protect human rights, allow scientific process of elevating human consciousness and this AI being ?effective in human-machine collaboration in life, learning and work, and for sustainable development.
Conclusion:
As per evidential scriptural records of history (not mythology) in the book of the Bhagavad Gita (recognized by Warren Hastings, Henry David Thoreau, Einstein and Oppenheimer) it is as explanation of science of God, explains the existing of life forms in various bodies spread across the universe and Earth is just one of the habitable planets in one of the universes, out of the multiple universes, all this is explained several thousands of years ago by the Supreme Personality of God head Krishna. So, we must readjust our false egos and false bodily identification of ourselves and wake up to the absolute truth about our source, our real nature, our existence and therefore align ourselves to be compatible to the environment, social fabric and governance structures already prescribed in the books to be aligned to our original state of consciousness intelligence and mind and hence save the planet.
