We hosted a brilliant year-end event this week for KPMG’s first year of the AccelerateHER programme. AccelerateHER is a talent programme designed to support female Directors across Financial Services Audit, Advisory and Tax & Legal in the UK.
We had an amazing panel with the wonderful Beverley Brown FRSA Mel Newton and Anna Purchas , where they shared their valuable experiences and insights on the topic of ‘Building your brand and profile’. The conversation centred on key attributes that shape your brand - urging us to think beyond just our areas of expertise and to focus on what we truly want to be known for. This emphasised the importance of authenticity, visibility and strong networking, highlighting how these elements contribute to creating a lasting and impactful brand.
Following this, we ran a year on reflections session, inviting 6 female leaders on the programme to share their experiences and learnings. Three takeaways that stood out:
