KPIs – If You Can Measure It, You Can Manage It

As the downward pressure on Startup valuations continues to bite, more and more Venture Investors are reverting to first principles, and investing time into their portfolio company founders to teach them the basics of running an efficient (read lean) business. In all cases, these founders have completed a Series A round raise, and in some cases, they have got as far as a Series B raise, WITHOUT having much of a clue about financial metrics, KPIs, etc.
