Kosmology: The Flip Book Universe
The Flip Book Universe is an exciting and wildly speculative model that offers a fresh perspective on how the universe works. By integrating all aspects of physics and providing answers to many of the difficult questions and paradoxes that have confounded scientists for decades, this model challenges our conventional understanding of the universe. Instead of seeing the universe as a continuous, smoothly, and expanding entity, the Flip Book Universe suggests that it is made up of a series of discrete, ever-changing moments, each connected to consciousness in a profound way.
In the Flip Book Universe, the concept of time and change is central. The only thing that truly exists is the present moment, the "Now." At any given moment, all the matter and energy in the universe is frozen in place, like a still image in a flip book. However, as time ticks forward, one tiny tick at a time, we experience the illusion of movement and change, just like flipping through the pages of a flip book creates the appearance of motion while the drawings are all static. This fundamental idea challenges our intuitive understanding of the universe and has profound implications for our understanding of reality.
Consciousness is key in the Flip Book Universe, serving as the observer that determines which possible future becomes reality. This has important implications for our understanding of free will and our role in shaping the cosmos. The model proposes three distinct but interconnected types of consciousness: Individual, Life, and Universal. Universal consciousness is proposed to exist outside of time which gives it a “God’s eye view” of reality. These forms of consciousness, though individually unique, are ultimately unified and form a fundamental part of the universe's structure. By working together, all these consciousnesses can potentially influence the course of the universe while also maintaining the fundamental laws of physics.
The behavior of light is particularly interesting in the Flip Book Universe. Unlike in traditional physics, light doesn't move through space but transitions from one page to the next until observed. This explains why the speed of light is constant and why we can't observe light in motion. It's an intriguing interpretation of light's properties that can help us better understand the fundamental constraints of the cosmos. The understanding that light is made of photons that are particles, rather than both a wave and particle, which is confusing, is a significant paradigm shift in our comprehension of how the cosmos functions.
The Flip Book Universe framework presents a unique perspective on the workings of our universe. By integrating physics and consciousness, it offers a fresh understanding of time, change, light, black holes, dark matter, and dark energy, challenging traditional concepts and shedding light on some of the universe's most perplexing mysteries. Currently, Steve Frazee, the originator of the Flip Book Universe model, is in the process of developing a comprehensive technical paper that mathematically demonstrates how this model unifies all aspects of physics while providing a foundation for understanding the intricate relationship between consciousness and physics.
