From E2 to A3: Remarkable Home Transformations in Donegal!

We had the pleasure of visiting a home in Donegal that has undergone an extraordinary transformation, thanks to a comprehensive deep retrofit. This project was expertly managed by KORE Retrofit as the One Stop Shop, with B Donaghey and Sons Ltd serving as the contractor.

The home now boasts an impressive array of energy upgrades, including Internal Wall Insulation, Attic, Floor, and Flat Roof Insulation, UPVC Triple Glazed Windows, Composite Doors, a Heat Pump, Solar PV, and Demand Control Ventilation. These improvements have elevated the home’s BER rating from E2 to an outstanding A3, demonstrating the effectiveness of a deep retrofit in enhancing energy efficiency and comfort.
