Based on data from The Future of The Indonesian Healthcare Ecosystem in 2018, as much as IDR1,440 trillion was used up to deal with service interoperability issues.
In addition, according to the performance report of the Ministry of Health in 2018, there are 210 out of 514 districts/cities that do not have a data communication network for the implementation of e-health and around 61% of level II regions do not report priority health data.
“Therefore, connecting all stakeholders is the key to creating a better health ecosystem. Medigo has a mission to connect patients, doctors, and healthcare providers through a digital ecosystem, ”explained Harya.
Meanwhile, dr. Agnes MPH from ProSehat stated that there are several challenges in the health industry in 2019, namely the increase in healthcare costs, changes in regulations, movement of demands and expectations from patients, digital transformation, and cybersecurity. Based on studies in 2,300 hospitals in the United States, the hospital should be able to save 10 million US dollars in terms of Supply Chain Management (manufacturers, distributors, providers, buyers).
“Therefore, we need a technology solution related to supply chain management with the concept of Inventory Management Just In Time (JIT) which aims to reduce waste and redundant inventory, so that product, component or material delivery is carried out according to organizational needs,” said Agnes.
This seminar was carried out in collaboration with the Ministry of Communication and Information, the Tangerang Health Service, the Indonesian HealthTech Association, ProSehat, and Medigo.
