KOLI - Micro Influencer Market
Project Brief
Our client wanted to create a community of influencers and brands where they could connect. Thus, we developed the KOLI Android app where influencers can create profiles, showcase their work, and apply for projects. Brands can post projects, search and browse influencer profiles, and collaborate with them to promote their brands.
About the Client
Influencer Pte Ltd has a mission to become a go-to platform for influencer marketing by offering opportunities to influencers to showcase their work while offering data-driven insights to brands enabling them to select the influencers best suited for their brand promotion.
The Challenge
Today’s brands rely heavily on influencer marketing to connect to their audience and what we call social proof. However, in the era of TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram, there are a large number of micro-influencers, and not all these influencers have dedicated managers to coordinate with brands.
Similarly, brands find it hard to connect with these micro-influencers by searching them on different platforms.

Challenges & Roadblocks
Building a matching algorithm that could accurately match brands with relevant influencers was critical. We built and tested the algorithm and search filters that consider a multitude of parameters for precise matching. We also implemented integrations with social media APIs to fetch updated metrics while keeping the high app performance.
The Result
With 10K+ downloads, KOLI is a successful mobile app, considering it is a niche app relevant to influencers and brands only. The following are the download, rating, and review metrics for Google Play.
