KNX automation can be affordable

What is the first thing that comes to mind when you hear about the KNX #automation system? It's very expensive... We don't have the budget for it.

It was like that before. Now the situation has changed.

With the expansion of Chinese manufacturers, the price of #KNX devices has been dropped down dramatically. This is the result of a competition, not dumping, since the discounts for system integrators have remained within 45-50%. The total cost of a KNX automation system from Chinese and European manufacturers may differ by a factor of two. At the same time, the quality of Chinese manufacturers today does not lag behind the leaders of the European market.

Today I want to tell you about the new brand in the KNX automation market from China - SATION (Zhuhai #Sation Technology Co.). This company has a history of developing KNX solutions for more than 10 years. They created their own KNX protocol stack. SATION is the actual member of the International KNX Association and enters the Board of the China KNX Association.

SATION is one of the top-3 KNX manufacturers in China and their equipment is already available in Serbia at very attractive price. A complete line of DIN-rail devices (relay #actuators, #dimmers, #DALI #gateways, curtain actuators, room #controllers, system components), installation boxes mounted devices, programmable mechanical and touch-switches, #touch panels and more. By the way, the retail price of the touch panel from the video is only 114 EUR (this is the price already in Belgrade).

If you or your customers have some skepticism about "Made in China", look at the smartphones industry (*KNX is also electronics). I don't know what your personal preferences are, but my next smartphone will be Huawei. Similar changes in the world of cars are not far away. The world has already changed around us; we need to adapt.
