Knowledge and Societal Dynamism
Stringing together society’s strengths require people, money, power, and wisdom work to support progress. Over time, social mobility, income generation, power sharing, and learned behavior align to reinforce each other to improve efficiency.?? Family, school, and community can prepare productive generations; the work environment can yield decent jobs and life styles; the polity can guarantee participation; and the knowledge culture can help ensure creative discussion about values needed for the common good.? Together they generate momentum to perform well.?
Knowledge plays a defining role in educating people in cognitive and emotional awareness; organizing the job market to extend productive skills; allowing public participation and debate; and supporting the arts and sciences to channel values into behaviors. Development is a function of knowledge acting on people, wealth, power, and wisdom to shape dynamism. Knowledge leads to mobility which allows for job and lifestyle opportunities, which assures political participation and cultural wisdom. The economy advances lifestyle choice and political interests. Political participation allows cultural awareness? to raise social conscience levels. Self-organization among sectors supports resilient dynamism.
Culture allows available knowledge to morph into wisdom that reinforces self-awareness through learning styles, work skills and life goals, public participation, and advocating the common good. Social organization allows individuals and groups to prosper when knowledge is open and free. The polity uses knowledge to pursue policy goals communicated to the public through debate. The economy uses knowledge to organize production and markets to meet societal needs. Knowledge effectively applied, makes individuals smarter, productive, connected, and wiser. Social mobility is more open, work more meaningful and enjoyable, participation more equitable, and wisdom more fluid.
Looking at how core sectors contribute to the whole of society can lead to the development of systems theory that explains how societal dynamism occurs across nations. The US is an economically dominant system with historically subservient political, social, and cultural sectors. China is a politically dominant system with subservient economic, social, and cultural sectors. Iran is a culturally dominant theocratic system with subservient economic, social, and political sectors. France is a socially dominant system with subservient economic, political, and cultural sectors given liberte, egalite, fraternite. Each system develops a societal ethos that supports national goals where each sector is called upon to? contribute to the cause.
What pattern does your nation follow? And how does this structure and set of functions affect the overall ethos of your nation to support societal dynamism? Can differences in societal position based on social, economic, political, and cultural makeup be overcome? to allow society to develop effectively? How well do sectors support one another? These questions and more provide insight into how societies will contribute to future global well being. Construct a development model and place it in your mind to guide your work.
