"Know Your Value!"

A father, one day, being seriously ill, said to his son:

“This is the watch your grandfather gave me and it is over 200 years old. Before I give it to you, go to the market on the square and tell them that you want to sell it, ask them how much they offer, but do not sell it, whatever price they give you.

The son went and after a few minutes, returned to his father and said: “The merchant offers to pay $5 because the watch is old and has a lot of scratches”.

Then the father asked his son to go to the bazaar and asked about how much they offer, but do not sell the watch.

The son left and after an hour, he came back and said: They are offering $50 father.

Now go to the watchmaker shop and ask what they offer, but do not sell the watch.

The son went forward and then returned happy. “They offered me a million dollars for this piece”, he said. “It is a watch of great value”.

The father said: I wanted to inform you that “the right place values you in a right way”. Do not put yourself in the wrong place and treat you like rubbish. Those who know your worth are the ones who value you, never stay in a place that does not suit you. Know Your Value!”
