Know Your Value, California! Huge San Francisco workshop + a chance to win $25,000
Women realizing their value is the message of the day – and this year’s Know Your Value National Event is slated to be one of the best ever.
Strong women from a variety of fields and backgrounds will join us Saturday, Dec. 1, 2018, at the Palace Hotel in San Francisco: Dia Simms, President of Combs Enterprises; Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA); Katty Kay, BBC News anchor and author of the “The Confidence Code" and "The Confidence Code for Girls;” and Elizabeth Vargas, host of “A&E Investigates.” (Purchase your tickets here.)
I think of our annual Know Your Value National Event as a huge workshop: a place to inspire and be inspired, where you’ll leave armed with the tools you need to grow your value.
It’s the in-person extension of our mission to empower women in business and in life – to help all women recognize, and be recognized for, their personal and professional value by developing and inspiring their individual growth.
That’s why the full-day Know Your Value National Event in San Francisco will tackle a wide swath of topics, from negotiating your worth in the workplace to personal finance, health and wellness. Beyond the impressive women mentioned above, you'll hear from tons of leaders across industries who will help build connections, boost confidence and guide your purpose. They include:
Amy Banse, Managing Director and Head of Funds for Comcast Ventures; Emily Chang, Bloomberg TV anchor and author of “Brotopia: Breaking Up the Boys’ Club of Silicon Valley”; Jean Chatzky, financial editor of NBC News’ “TODAY”; Janine Driver, body language and branding expert; Dr. Madelyn Fernstrom, NBC News and “TODAY” Health Editor; Vicky Nguyen, senior investigative reporter and anchor for NBC Bay Area - KNTV; Jane Park, CEO and founder of Julep Beauty; Zainab Salbi, founder of Women for Women International and author of “Freedom is an Inside Job”; Dia Simms, president of Combs Enterprises; Megan Twohey, investigative reporter for The New York Times and NBC News and MSNBC contributor; and Shelley Zalis, CEO of The Female Quotient and co-founder of #seeher. I couldn’t be more excited about this year’s national event, and I hope you’ll join us December 1 in San Francisco.
Three finalists will be flown to New York learn how to effectively communicate their value, receiving professional coaching, personal branding and styling. They’ll pitch me and a panel of judges live on stage at the San Francisco event – and the finalist who makes the most compelling pitch will win the grand prize of $25,000!
