Know your ROI with FREE Twitter Statistics Analyser

How are you performing on Twitter? Are you getting a good return for the time investment you spend on it?

To help you find out, I’ve teamed up with Richard Sumner of Spreadsheet Solutions to bring you a free Twitter Statistics Analyser. This free tool allows you to delve into the analytics Twitter provides in more depth and helps you understand what return on investment (ROI) you are getting for your activity.

Not just about the money

ROI isn’t simply about the money you spend on your business; it’s also about your time. No doubt you spend a fair amount of time on Twitter and you may also have used the paid-for advertising facility it provides.

Excel whizz Richard has put together a spreadsheet that allows you to measure your Twitter ROI and to discover how successful your tweets are. With the spreadsheet, you can directly compare your free Twitter activity with any paid-for Twitter advertising you’ve done, simply by pasting in the information from your Twitter Analytics.

The Statistics Analyser allows you to see at a glance:

  • Your top 10 most successful tweets, based on your preferences (so for example, you might choose to give more importance to link clicks than to a retweet)
  • Stats by simple numbers, including the number of hashtag clicks and URL clicks
  • Analysis of how your tweets fare at different times of the day, allowing you to assess the best time to tweet to achieve your goals
  • Ability to sort your raw data by any criteria and rank it based on your preferences
  • A direct comparison between free tweets and ‘paid for’ tweets, so you can analyse how effective your paid for Twitter advertising actually is.
