Safety is not an option, it must be a priority in everyone’s life.
The industrial sector is a fast-growing sector in India. Industries play a vital role in the economic growth of the country. Millions of people in India work in different industries.
With?500 million workers, the Indian labour force is the world’s second-largest. Industrial workers are involved in various operations on different machines in an industry or different industries.?
In the last few decades, the Indian industrial sector has significantly become more modern than before. The use of huge automated machinery has increased in almost every industry.
With the increased usage of this machinery and equipment, the safety hazards for employees have also increased. Industries are more prone to accidents than any other economic sector viz. Agriculture or Service sector.
Safety must always be the primary concern for the industrial facilities, from protecting employees from accidental injuries to safeguarding equipment from severe damage.
Industrial processes and operations use high-speed machinery, automated systems, and equipment that move heavy parts or handle hazardous material.
Industrial workers are exposed to various risks in the workplace. Hence, they should be provided with the required tools and equipment for their safety at the workplace.
Workers working in two different industries may need different types of safety tools. For example, a worker involved in welding or burning operations and a worker in a chemical or petroleum industry will require different sets of tools and equipment.
However, they require certain common safety tools and devices even after belonging to different industries. Safety gloves are one of them. In almost every large or small industry, gloves are essential safety tools.
Safety Gloves?
Work gloves are also known as Safety Gloves or Protective Gloves. These are worn to save the user’s hands and fingers from cuts, splinters, blisters, heat or chemical burns, and skin punctures.?
