In the Know: Side Hustle September Recap

In the Know: Side Hustle September Recap

Good morning,? Oriade Joycelyn Adenuga ?here????! Welcome to our September round-up newsletter!

Here is to hoping that your September went well and that you’re ready to accomplish your Q4 goals. If you didn’t know, September is very much about side hustles here at the NYT network, so much so that we’ve dubbed it ‘Side Hustle September’! With our main objective being to help women boost their confidence and earn more, we are all for our members going beyond their existing streams of income!

I begin with some top tips on how to create a side hustle AND thrive at it!?

  1. Find something that you enjoy doing.?Carving out a side hustle amidst an already busy routine is more sustainable if it brings enjoyment! This way when it’s time to put in the work for your new endeavour, you’re more likely to have a sense of excitement and enthusiasm for it.
  2. Do your research.?With the rise of social media, it is all too easy to set up an Instagram page and proclaim that one is now a CEO. ?? Now, we love a good boss move, but we also love a well-researched and executed plan all the more. Utilise resources and ask for help in your networks and communities (like ours).?
  3. Have patience.?Before the side hustle of your choice starts raking in the coins, it’s likely that it may take a bit of time. Understand that a bigger picture is coming together and with consistency and an outlined vision your side hustle and your existing streams of income will all come together nicely!

Good luck for the autumn/winter home stretch!?

The rest of the newsletter is packed with a recap of our recent sales webinar as well as our usual reads, opportunities and member updates. Enjoy!
