Know the Rules

In every waking moment we are creating and altering our lives. Our present situation and future is and will be a product of our thoughts, our visualizations, our intentions, our emotions, our feelings, our beliefs, our attitudes, our expectations and what we will (or will not) allow ourselves to experience shapes your life.

Understanding the mystery force that rules us and the universe is understanding Dark energy that dominates the universe, and could lead it to a cold, bleak end. But that's not to say we have much clue what it is or how it works.

Dark energy is everywhere, and when we say everywhere, we mean everywhere. It suffuses every corner of the cosmos, absolutely dominating everything in it. It dictates how the universe behaves now and how it will end. What a pity, then, that we have no clue what it is.

It exploded onto the scene in 1998, when two competing groups made the same observation of distant supernovae. These massive stellar explosions were further away than their brightness suggested they should be, indicating not just that the universe is expanding, which was expected, but that its expansion is accelerating, which wasn’t.

About the best we can do is say that dark energy acts as a kind of antigravity, pushing things apart where gravity pulls them together. Dark energy’s inscrutability earned it its name, but Catherine Heymans at the University of Edinburgh, UK, isn’t a fan. “When most people think of something as being dark, they think of it as absorbing light,” she says. “Dark energy doesn’t absorb or emit light.“Dark energy is a weird perpetual motion machine”

Be that as it may, it makes up a whopping 68 per cent of all the universe’s matter and energy. Regular matter makes up less than 5 per cent. The remainder is almost equally inscrutable, but gravitating, dark matter.

The laws of nature do not apply only to us. Our entire universe follows the same laws. And these laws never change.

Your coffee left on a counter will always become cool. Gravity remains steady, never random. The speed of light remains constant. The earth rotates in 24 hours. (This is so precise, we know the year we need to add a leap-second to our world clock, to keep it current.) Doesn't it seem strange that our universe is so orderly? Why is that?

Cosmologist Sean Carroll comments, "A law of physics is a pattern that nature obeys without exception."

Scientists today take for granted the idea that the universe operates according to laws. All of science is based on what author James Trefil calls the principle of universality, it says that: "the laws of nature we discover here and now in our laboratories are true everywhere in the universe and have been in force for all time."

There's more. As scientists record what they observe, most often they are not just using words and paragraphs. The laws of nature can be documented with numbers. They can be measured and computed in the language of mathematics.

The greatest scientists have been struck by how strange this is. There is no logical necessity for a universe that obeys rules, let alone one that abides by the rules of mathematics. The speed of light measures the same 186,000 miles per second, no matter if the light comes from a child's flashlight or a star that's galaxies away. Mathematically, there is an exact speed of light that doesn't change.

Physicist Eugene Wigner confesses that the mathematical underpinning of nature "is something bordering on the mysterious and there is no rational explanation for it." Richard Feynman, a Nobel Prize winner for quantum electrodynamics, said, "Why nature is mathematical is a mystery...The fact that there are rules at all is a kind of miracle."

This astonishment springs from the recognition that the universe doesn't have to behave this way. It is easy to imagine a universe in which conditions change unpredictably from instant to instant, or even a universe in which things pop in and out of existence. Instead, scientists cling to their long-held faith in the fundamental rationality of the cosmos.

All of modern science rests in the belief that rational laws, exist in the universe. The main category of modern scientists who propelled exploration and discovery of these laws were men and women who believed in the existence of an all-powerful God. Why? They envisioned the universe to follow laws in keeping with the rationality and majesty of God the creator. Just as God is consistent, unchanging, there is a constant nature of science. They believed that God made the universe to operate lawfully, according to divine reason and with glorious beauty.

This is quite different from people who believed in multiple Gods, each affecting the universe by their own whim or temperament. In polytheistic societies, the Gods were inconsistent and unsearchable and nature was governed by gods who could not be known. The universe behaved, so they thought, in as much of a mystery as their Gods, with little thought that it could be otherwise. The concept of a discoverable, intelligent, orderly universe that was rational and predictable simply was not in their worldview.

The Rules of Life are the guiding principles that will help you get more out of life, shrug off adversity more easily and generally be a happier, calmer, more fulfilled person. You’ll feel the benefits, and so will everyone around you.

The Law of Oneness - Everything is connected to everything else. What we think, say, do and believe will have a corresponding effect on others and the universe around us.

Law of Vibration - Everything in the Universe moves, vibrates and travels in circular patterns, the same principles of vibration in the physical world apply to our thoughts, feelings, desires and wills in the Etheric world. Each sound, thing, and even thought has its own vibrational frequency, unique unto itself.

Law of Action - Must be employed in order for us to manifest things on earth. We must engage in actions that supports our thoughts dreams, emotions and words

Law of Correspondence - This Universal Law states that the principles or laws of physics that explain the physical world energy, Light, vibration, and motion have their corresponding principles in the etheric or universe "As above, so below"

Law of Cause and Effect - Nothing happens by chance or outside the Universal Laws.. Every Action(including thought) has a reaction or consequence "We reap what we sow"

Law of Compensation - The Universal Law is the Law of Cause and effect applied to blessings and abundance that are provided for us. The visible effects of our deeds are given to us in gifts, money, inheritances, friendships and blessings.

Law of Attraction - Demonstrates how we create the things, events and people that come into our lives Our thoughts, feelings, words, and actions produce energies which, in turn attract like energies. Negative energies attract negative energies and positive energies attract positive energies.

The Law of Perpetual Transmutation of Energy - All persons have within them the power to change the conditions of their lives. Higher vibrations consume and transform lower ones; thus, each of us can change the energies in our lives by understanding the Universal Laws and applying the principles in such a way as to effect change

Law of Relativity - Each person will receive as series of problems (Tests of Initiation/Lessons) for the purpose of strengthening the light within each of these tests/lessons to be a challenge and remain connected to our hearts when proceeding to solve the problems. This law also teaches us to compare our problems to others problem into its proper perspective. No matter how bad we perceive our situation to be, There is always someone who is in a worse position. Its all relative.

Law of Polarity - Everything is on a continuum and has and opposite. We can suppress and transform undesirable thoughts by concentrating on the opposite pole. It is the law of mental vibrations.

Law of Rhythm - Everything vibrates and moves to certain rhythms.. These rhythms establish seasons, cycles, stages of development, and patterns. Each cycle reflects the regularity of God's Universe. Masters know how to rise above negative parts of a cycle by never getting to excited or allowing negative things to penetrate their consciousness.

Law of Gender - The law of gender manifests in all things as masculine and feminine. It is this law that governs what we know as creation. The law of gender manifests in the animal kingdom as sex. This law decrees everything in nature is both male and female. Both are required for life to exist.

Life is complicated, but you can make it a bit easier by following these simple tips. The 7 Rules of Life can remind you where to focus and invest your energy, so you can enjoy life more. Sometimes, it can be challenging to follow them, but it is always beneficial. Here are some tips for making the 7 rules of life work for you:

The first rule of life is “be yourself”. How we live and what we do is only our own business. We are our own motivation and definition of success, failure, and accomplishments. It is all about you and nothing but you.

Make peace with your past. The past can affect your present in unhelpful ways. An important aspect of mental health is continuously looking ahead to a bright future full of opportunities. The past is unchangeable. As you keep moving forward each day, you must intentionally move beyond the past. Here are some important components of that journey:

Move past what others think. You can never know another person's thoughts. Don't fall into the trap of always worrying how others will react. Instead, be true to yourself, so you can attract the kind of people who truly belong in your life. Do what makes you happy and the right people will stick around. Then, offer others the same courtesy.

Time and healing. This advice is for rules #3 and #6. Often, you just need to let things sit. Life may seem difficult right now, but by following rule #1 and not dwelling on the past, you can move forward to find happiness. Acknowledge your suffering, but don't let it take over. When you don't know the right answer or the right thing to do, you can pay attention to what makes you feel better and what makes you feel worse.

Smile, or don't. This may seem a bit contrary, but you don't have to force yourself to be happy all of the time. Absolutely allow yourself to feel your emotions as they are. Happiness is not about burying your feelings. It's about acknowledging them and giving them their appropriate place. Find a balance by not dwelling on problems. Instead, look at them objectively to take away their power and step toward happiness.

Stop comparing yourself to others. Comparison is the thief of joy. Measuring your worth or well-being against other people is a useless activity that ends in despair. Every day is an opportunity to celebrate who you are and what you have. Choosing contentment and focusing on the good in your life are powerful ways to overcome habits of comparison.

Control your thoughts. It's important that you feel empowered to dwell on the right ideas. Rehearsing negative interactions, revisiting the past in your mind, and repeating negative ideas are all unhelpful behaviors. Learning to change your thoughts is an important tool. Hone it, and practice whenever you're struggling with unhelpful thoughts.

There are things within your control and things outside your control. When people or circumstances are outside of your control, it is important to not hold them too tightly. Imbalanced responsibilities will make you unhappy. Accepting the right level of responsibility will help you function within your limits.

When you can follow these rules, you will find your tension and worries melting away. If you're having trouble letting go or need to talk to someone, consider a professional therapist to help you figure out where you're getting stuck...
