Jade Orogun here ??. Welcome to our End of 2024 newsletter!
We are well into the holiday season and it goes without saying, it’s easy for our spending to ramp up. Between festive events, gifts for loved ones, or even treating yourself to something well-deserved—it all adds up.
But first, let’s pause to celebrate: you’ve made it this far in 2024! Managing finances isn’t always easy, especially when life throws curveballs. This year, I worked on rebuilding my emergency fund after a couple of expensive years (hello wedding costs, milestone birthdays and visa fees). I also learned the importance of honest conversations about my budget—especially for social events.?
Surprisingly, one thing that’s helped me stay on track has been watching others share their monthly budgeting online. It’s both calming and insightful to see people share their tips and spending habits—it’s like a financial support system you didn’t know you needed.
Here are some lessons I’ve gathered, along with actionable tips to help you navigate the season and set yourself up for success in the new year:
Surround Yourself with Financial Support ??

Practice Mindful Celebrating ??

Automate for Peace of Mind ??
Personal finance isn’t about perfection—it’s about progress. By taking small, consistent steps, you’ll build the confidence and resources to achieve your financial goals. Good luck to you, me and all of us!?
