Knightsbridge Apartments in Arlington was recently awards the 2022 Virginia Governors Housing Conference Award for Best Housing Preservations/Revitalization Effort. ZA+D was the Architect for the project and was delighted to be part of the reception and acceptance of the award with our Client, Wesley Housing.
Outgoing CEO Shelley Murphy comments in the video below about all the attributes of the project that made it stand out.

Because our focus is on agency-intensive and community-oriented projects, most of our clientele includes non-profit entities, schools, and local government authorities. We possess expertise with new construction as well as the renovation, rehabilitation, and adaptive re-use of existing structures, including those of historical significance. We are honored to add this project along with with several others that involve the rehabilitation of historic structures.
