Knight Frank strengthens Asia Pacific Residential team

Knight Frank strengthens Asia Pacific Residential team

4 January 2018, Singapore – Knight Frank, the independent global property consultancy, announces the appointment of Victoria Garrett as the Head of Residential for Asia Pacific, based in Singapore.

Garrett is responsible for growing and developing Knight Frank’s residential business in Asia Pacific, which includes the marketing of overseas and local developments, sales and leasing. She works closely with the various local residential teams across Asia Pacific, ensuring the region is working in tandem with the UK headquarters, Douglas Elliman Fine Homes – Knight Frank’s residential partner in the US – and the firm’s businesses in EMEA.

Victoria Garrett, Head of Residential, Knight Frank Asia Pacific, highlights, “In this new year, we are looking at engaging with our clients on a more intimate level, particularly so where wealth preservation and intergenerational wealth transfer issues take centre stage for high-net-worth investors. Providing clients with an integrated regional perspective on the opportunities developing across the region and beyond is how we would like to differentiate our services to our clients.”

Kevin Coppel, Regional Head, Knight Frank Asia Pacific, says, “We see huge opportunities in the residential sector in the Asia Pacific region – there is no doubt that China and India will be critical engines driving the growth of residential activity for many years to come.

“Since moving to Singapore in August last year, Victoria has focused on the residential business in China. New residential teams in Guangzhou and Shenzhen have since been formed as part of a broader expansion plan in mainland China in 2018.”

Prior to moving to Singapore, Garrett spent four years in Dubai, where she was Head of the New Homes team covering the Middle East selling investment and prime residential properties to clients.

Garrett started in real estate 13 years ago in her native London. She first joined Knight Frank in 2011 as a specialist in house sales in Chelsea, South Kensington, Belgravia and Knightsbridge dealing with high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients from around the world.
