KNCreW 2021!

It's KNCreW 2021 this weekend! Almost 70 people from across the firm will be walking, running, riding, cycling, swimming...you name it, to raise money for two fantastic charities near our new Bonhill office Shoreditch Trust and Voyage Youth. The family team KN-ines are not to be outdone and will be completing a 5km walk this Saturday. You might think a 5km walk is nothing, but the concentration levels of these pooches is pretty low. Ability to follow a route in a straight line? None existent. 5km could quickly become 10km (and the rest).
Please support this great fundraising event by sponsoring anything you can spare using the link here: https://www.justgiving.com/team/kncrew. To get you in the giving mood, our KN-ine team wanted to tell you a little bit about themselves. At the very least, they hope this makes you smile.
Charlie
The original family KN-ine, and the eldest of the group, he’s keen to show he can keep up with the young whippersnappers. A demon over short distances…long distances, not so much.
Strengths: the ability to fall asleep anywhere at any time (think a teenager on four legs).
Weaknesses: squirrels
Arthur
Harbours dreams of being called up for Wimbledon as a ball boy…tennis balls are his jam. Will most likely cover the equivalent of 20km as he paces back and forth between the pack and the humans, hoping one of those two legged weirdos has a tennis ball to throw.
Strengths: Arthur says this: “I have a very particular set of skills. Skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people looking to hide my ball. If you let my ball go now that'll be the end of it. I will not look for it, I will not pursue it, but if you don't, I will look for it, I will find it and I will…fetch it”. Yes, he is the Liam Neeson of ball fetching.
Weaknesses: also tennis balls and a dodgy hip (not an ideal combo).
Winnie
Don’t let her model looks deceive you, this pooch can rough and tumble with the rest of them and she isn’t afraid to get her paws dirty.
Strengths: Her shiny coat has the ability to dazzle her enemies (L’Oreal…she’s worth it).
Weaknesses: Mud…sees mud, will bathe.
Luna
Tiny but mighty. Her little legs make the 5km more of a challenge, but one that she will meet like a boss.
Strengths: she might be little, but she’s a speed demon.
Weaknesses: could be mistaken for a bunny rabbit, making long walks higher risk.
Lola
Our lanky lab, she’s all legs eleven. 5k is no drama for our lovely Lola, providing Charlie doesn’t crocodile roll her into a stream…again.
Strengths: hunting out food…anywhere, anything, she will find it.
Weaknesses: also, hunting out food.
