Kloudle will sponsor InfosecGirls Community activities

Kloudle recently announced that we are sponsoring InfosecGirls.

Background a bit more about why we are doing this

Not many people may know this but I was involved in the initial ideation and brainstorming of what is now known as InfosecGirls. InfosecGirls started to fulfill a specific need. While a lot of us were involved with null in various capacities, we were aware that the ratio of women attending null meets was something that could be improved. A solution that gathered popularity was if there was an exclusive place for women to get together and start learning, over time their strength and numbers would increase. 

From the time this was just an idea to when Vandana took over from Shruthi and Apoorva, I was closely involved. This allowed me to push my ulterior motive of deploying a static website created using Hugo to Netlify (they still run on that) and be available as a standby speaker once in a while. Jokes apart, under the able stewardship of Vandana InfosecGirls has taken off like a rocket ship ??????. 

They say nothing can stop an idea whose time has come

The same things which would have occurred as limitations to this amazing community held them in great stead during the time of great upheaval and uncertainty. During the global pandemic, many communities which were offline first (hence strong locally) struggled to become online but InfosecGirls has grown from strength to strength. 

I started Kloudle to fulfill a specific need. Just like the InfosecGirls community came up with innovative new ideas on how to build and create an amazing community, at Kloudle we have set out to transform the way cloud security is done.

The ethos of a safe space for learning & having fun while doing so resonates with us at Kloudle. The post-covid world will need more of this positivity and support structures.

Being given an opportunity to go along on this journey and support InfosecGirls in their plans is something we are thrilled about and grateful for.
