KLH Hyderabad campus recently hosted a crucial event focused on advancing skill development in rural areas – the three-day Capacity Building Workshop for the staff of Jan Sikshan Sansthan (JSS), organized by the Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA). This marked the 25th batch of the Capacity Building Workshop for JSS Staff at the University, organized by IRMA, showcasing a steadfast commitment to empowering individuals for meaningful contributions to rural development.
IRMA, renowned for its dedication to sustainable rural development through education, research, and outreach, stands as a premier institution in the field. Under the leadership of Dr. Hippu Salk Kristle Nathan, Workshop Coordinator, and Ms. Moxa Y Thakkar, Program Manager from IRMA, the workshop brought together participants from Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, and Telangana. The program covered various crucial aspects of professional development to enhance the skills and capabilities of the JSS staff.
This all-encompassing workshop included a diverse range of sessions addressing key areas of development like Field Visit to IIIT Incubation Center, Perspective of Development, Stakeholder Management, Digital and Social Media Marketing, Diversity and Inclusion, Time Management, Financial Inclusion and Rural Credit, Noting and Drafting Skills, Team Building Session, Survey and Identification of Beneficiaries Session. The collaborative initiative between KLH Hyderabad campus and IRMA represents a significant step towards advancing skill development and empowering individuals for impactful contributions to rural development. The workshop not only equipped the JSS staff with essential skills but also cultivated a spirit of collaboration and a culture of continuous learning and professional growth among the staff. This, in turn, is anticipated to lead to improved patient care and outcomes, inclusive development, community upliftment, and the implementation of practical strategies for the effective execution of JSS schemes.
