KLH GBS hosts 24-hrs Robo Building Challenge
KLH Global Business School, Hyderabad hosted a 24-hour robot making challenge, where the engineering students from KLH Hyderabad campus made a robot that moves in a certain required path. A total of 11 teams (with at least 5 members per team) and 75 students from all departments participated in the event, which was a grand success. The students were very enthusiastic and dedicated to making their bots, and they worked hard throughout the 24-hour challenge. The judges were impressed with the creativity and innovation of the bots, and they had a difficult time choosing the winners.
The students were immensely involved in making their own bots using the components provided by the university. The students of 2023 showed the most interest in the challenge and were very much dedicated to it. In the end, two teams were able to produce working robots within the given time period. The first prize winning team consisted of B. Tech students R Satya Sai, B. Tejas, G. Sri Vardhan Reddy, A.J Swaroop, and G. Vamshi, while the second prize was won by K M Tharun Naidu and Sainath team.
The Robot Making Challenge was a great opportunity for students to learn about robotics and to apply their skills to a real-world problem. The students who participated gained valuable experience in teamwork, problem-solving, and creativity. The event was also a great way to promote STEM education and to encourage students to pursue careers in engineering and technology.
