1. Kiwa Amplifies Commitment to EU Drinking Water Directive ??
Kiwa recently hosted a significant meeting in Apeldoorn, the Netherlands bringing together a consortium of key conformity assessment bodies to deliberate on the framework of the European Union's Drinking Water Directive, and agreed upon a joint mission statement.

2. GHMT AG Joins Kiwa Germany??
This month, Gesellschaft für Hochfrequenz-Messtechnik (GHMT) joined the Kiwa group.
Based in Bexbach, Saarland, GHMT offers engineering services in the field of physical transmission security. The team of 60 experts are number 1 when it comes to Cabling & Systems, EMC in Facilities and Wireless Applications.
3. Kiwa's First EPD Report in China ??
Earlier this month, Kiwa BCC issued its very first Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) report in China to Tianjin NorthGlass Industrial Technical Co., Ltd.

The EPD report, issued by Kiwa BCC, will establish a green identity for the product series of Tianjin NorthGlass. This will effectively address the EU Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) and enable the company to seize new opportunities in the evolving international trade landscape."
4. Kiwa Inspecta and EduTec Open a Joint Premises ??
Kiwa and EduTec recently opened a joint premises in Varkaus, Finland.
The partnership between Kiwa Inspecta and EduTec now enables welding tests as a single entity. This new operational approach enhances our ability to serve the welding industry with greater efficiency. By combining EduTec's training services with Kiwa Inspecta's testing services, we can provide customers with a single point of contact, streamlining their experience.
5. Vin?otte Uses Robots for Tank Inspection at Belgoprocess ??
Vin?otte (a member of the Kiwa group), was recently contracted by Belgoprocess for visual inspection and thickness measurements of bunkered storage tanks at their wastewater treatment plant.
Due to the ionizing radiation and the risk of radioactive contamination, a remote inspection was the logical solution. Vin?otte's robotics partner hibot supplied a Floatarm, an articulated arm robot for multifunctional NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) inspections, as a solution.
