1. Kiwa and Twintag launch global partnership through Digi-Tags
Kiwa is proud to announce the global launch of Digi-Tags: a cutting-edge tool designed to revolutionize asset safety management.
Developed in collaboration with datatech leader Twintag , Digi-Tags is tailored for the TIC industry, serving as a central platform for integrating various types of inspection data, bringing convenience and ease-of use into the world of asset safety management.
2. European Parliament adopts Artificial Intelligence Act: MEPs adopt landmark law
The European Parliament recently adopted the?Artificial Intelligence Act: MEPs adopt landmark law, with an aim to safeguard fundamental rights, democracy, and environmental sustainability.
With the new set of rules, there's a need for a more careful examination of the evidence regarding the continuous safety and performance of AI-driven medical device software.
3. New Drinking Water Directive (DWD) Delegated Regulations and Implementing Decisions published in Official Journal of the European Union
The new DWD has been formally transposed into national law in almost all member states in recent years. However, the DWD does not define the minimum hygiene requirements for implementing the testing and certification of products to be imported into the internal market and their conformity assessment.
In order to ensure the harmonized application of the above-mentioned requirements, the Commission has adopted Implementing Decisions to define the specific minimum hygiene requirements.
