1. European Commission Adopts Article 11 acts of Drinking Water Directive
The European Commission (EC) has recently adopted the Article 11 Acts, a crucial step in implementing the Drinking Water Directive requirements on materials in contact with drinking water, which emphasizes that products must not compromise the quality of drinking water.
The adopted article 11 documents are now undergoing a legal check by lawyers of the European Union to ensure compliance with European approval systems.
2. Kiwa Expands its Automotive Laboratory Accreditations
We're proud to announce that our automotive laboratory, located in Apeldoorn, the Netherlands, has successfully expanded its accreditations aligning with the evolving global energy transition in the mobility and storage markets.

3. ASI Food Safety Expands Certification Services Through Kiwa
This year, ASI Food Safety is expanding to offer additional certification services through Kiwa, such as FSSC, BRCGS, IFS. These three certifications come with their own unique benefits to be leveraged by small, medium, and large Fortune 500 companies in various parts of the world.
The addition of these certifications will broaden the spectrum of benefits available to businesses of all sizes, while enhancing food safety practices on a global scale.
4. Kiwa Assists LASS-e Robot in Successful Gas Leak Inspection
In a significant stride towards enhancing safety and efficiency in gas line inspections, Kiwa recently collaborated?with?Alliander Research Center for Digital Technologies ?and the?Smart Mechatronics And RoboTics (SMART) Research Group , assisting with their CHARISMA project.
The joint effort resulted in the successful deployment of the LASS-e robot to autonomously inspect underground natural gas lines.
Kiwa BCC in China Marks their 30th Anniversary
Kiwa BCC in China recently hosted a celebration to mark its 30th anniversary, with more than 240 employees coming together to commemorate the milestone.
