The Flamefast, Kitchensafe fire suppression system is easy to install and is compatible with all four and six, gas and electric burner ranges and hoods. It can be installed next to the appliance or inside a kitchen cupboard out of sight.

The unit can be placed up to 14 ? feet from the nozzle to the unit. If you have a difficult install you have many options for placement of the unit.

This unique system consists of an easy to clean stainless steel, wall mounted cabinet which houses the wet suppression agent tank and electronics. The system is supplied with a hood manifold that houses the nozzles, temperature sensor and hoses which connect to the cabinet.

Kitchensafe has a two stage, audible, alarm that first, warns of high temperature on the cook top and then operates automatically in the event of an unattended cooking fire. The system then shuts off the fuel supply (gas or electric) to the cook top to avoid re-ignition. The system has a typical fire knock down time of within 5 seconds of discharge, allowing the remaining discharge time to cool and render the affected area completely safe. The system can be interfaced with the central alarm to notify the fire department of the fire. Kitchensafe also has a manual fire pull station and horn/strobe if required by your local Fire Marshal.
