Kitchen Utopia

Kitchen Utopia

"In addition to "sturdiness" and "convenience", buildings also need to be "pleasure".Pleasure is intertwined with the first two goals. Therefore, people can find a third different factor, The human's desire for beauty."

<Humanist Architecture> by Geoffrey Scott.

If we look closely, we can see that "customized" products are almost with us in the long river of human history. From the simple tools of the Stone Age to the magnificent religious buildings in the Middle Ages, with the advancement of material and civilization, the concept of customization has changed from a simple "making a handy life tool" to a symbol of status and power.

The two modern industrial revolutions gave birth to large-scale manufacturing, but at the same time brought a bunch of soulless industrial products. It was the Bauhaus movement that changed all of this. The role of designers became prominent. People began to pay attention to the ideas behind the product and what it can give to fresh thlife ofthe product.

Today's customization has gone beyond being a symbol of status and power. Customization is our yearning for the beauty and happiness of life, and a double reward for material and spiritual life.

So often I think that if I have a utopia facing the sea and spring flowers are blooming, I can renovate my house freely and make myself a satisfying kitchen. What will this kitchen look like???

So I started graffiti...

For a long time, the function of the kitchen has occupied almost the whole process of cabinet product design, so as to conceal the beauty of the kitchen itself and the important role it plays in our lives. With the improvement of housing conditions and quality of life, the yearning and return to family life has become the choice of more people, and the emotional value of the kitchen begins to highlight at this time. In fact, whether it is architecture or products, apart from dealing with specific practical functions, we always want to satisfy our desire for beauty in design.

We should care about the kitchen as we care about other spaces, whether the kitchen conforms to our own temperament and aesthetics, and whether it can provide a better cooking place for family and friends. In short, can the kitchen also carry the rich details and emotions in life?

A kitchen is, first of all, a place for cooking, but in today's life, it doesn't stop there. In my small apartment in Beijing, the kitchen occupies half of the living room area. In this open space, in addition to simply making some food for myself, I also wash clothes, listen to music, draw pictures, read books, and occasionally have a glass of whiskey. There is no essential difference between the kitchen space and other spaces in the house. Sometimes in order to take care of more things and use time effectively, I will spend more time in the kitchen.

My goal is to design a pleasant kitchen.?

A white and flat kitchen lacks pleasant elements. While I love rock music and all kinds of jingle jewelry, I am obsessed with the full colors full of happiness, and I can hardly give up my love for exquisite structures. I cook these favorites together and present this set of kitchens to everyone-a combination of exquisite hardware, deep baking varnish, and joyful colors.

Whether living alone, a simple family of two, or a lively three-generation family, they can absorb their spiritual energy in the kitchen space and sublimate the ritual sense of life in the collision of pots and pans.

Let's go back to color design. Concepts do not have to be remote, things within reach in life can also evoke memories of happiness and beauty. Therefore, we use the technique of "synthesis" to give color to the beauty of everyday things.
