Kitchen Risk Analysis- Implications and Preventions

We and almost every individual have to go through with different food items in our hectic routine life. We never think about that how these items were prepared i-e, what were the process involved in preparing these food items. We must know the health and safety risks involved in it. Because for our mind to be work smoothly we should have healthy and hygienic foods. This package of kitchen risk analysis can be used for many homes to help them make their kitchens safe and healthy and safer place to work. With the help of this accident prevention and compliance with relevant health and safety regulations is made possible.
The kitchen risk analysis involves many hazards but one of the major issue is match box that is found almost in every kitchen. The kitchen risk analysis is compulsory for every home that has a kitchen and use equipment like grinder, juicer, and home appliances, mixers, cutting and slicing tools etc. This type of analysis is needed for determining the hazards that may come in the use of these equipment’s. Owing to this analysis we use the tools or equipment present in the kitchen with safety, care and made them user friendly.
If the above explained variables take into the considerations the above said problems may be easily removed that are involved in the environment. We often observe wet floor in our kitchen, this causes a number of problems. So floor must be dry enough to avoid any slip damage accidents. We can also reduce this sort of risk by choosing appropriate footwear that may avoid slip areas. The floor of kitchen must be able to handle the nature of work we would like to do on it.
Sensible floor choices reduces the chances of accidents. This can be avoided if we properly arranged the walkways and passages free from hurdles. Obstructions in passages may cause damages and slow the speed of the work being done. Ill-fittings and poorly made floor may made mess of the meanings.
We can see the poor handling of match box on the stove or beside the stove with the help of following picture i.e.
So you can judge from this picture that if the fire touches the match box then it can be easily caught up the box and spread around. And if there is any cloth or any material beside it then there is a heavy chance of explosion and as a result it cause a serious human and asset loss.
We can also take care of substances used in the kitchen for example oils and fluids are particularly dangerous. We should cover all the fluids and oils if they are not in use. If we carry liquids and hot oils then there is a risk of splashes. Be attentive to ovens while opening them, and also be vigilant between drying and cleaning fryers. The equipment which we are using again and again must be properly cleaned.
If we take care of it properly then we may be able to reduce the chances of human and material loss easily and be able to work without any hazards. It can be judged with the help of following pictures i.e. handling of match box and stoves independently we might be able to resist hazards.
So this is very clear that if we handle the match box very smartly then there is a little risk of happening any damage to the property and humans as well.
Safety health and welfare at work Act, states that managers and administrators must be able to handle it smoothly. Results show that if the top managers and leaders are committed towards this then the hazards involved in this may be removed to greater extent. And as a result there is a prevention and avoidance from such illness.
So according to above said discussion we come to the conclusion that risk analysis means all about safety and monitoring of products and assets used in the kitchen environment.
