“A Kiss of Peace”

?                         

   A deeply felt peace of mind,

   Leaves despair behind,

   Seems earth is laughing,

 Kissing mankind,

   Distinguished entities of ancient lore,

  Inhabiting the Cosmos 

  Each other embrace with dignity,

  Arrive, depart; in a perpetual harmony,

 This infinite activity of divinity,

 Strikes mind to ponder,

Why do not we grow fonder?

When an unruly sea, flowing in peace,

Sun shines in sobriety,

And moon retains,

Mighty waves in superiority,

Nature’s course of remains a cycle of order,

Embarks a paradigm of modesty,

Then what happens to the people around the corner?

With inclined minds for grandeur consciously.

Seeking their own glory belonging to heaven only!

As nature reveals her motherly sovereignty,

Entire humankind screams for humanity,

Frightful acts of hers border on human insanity,

 Bring creatures closer no matter how exalted or unlike,

When calamities devastate anywhere in the world whole,

Dreadful times connect soul to soul, pole to pole,

These times emit the strength of communion and lamentations for “Peace”,

May these tragedies birth a bonding of love and togetherness, that will never cease.

Let’s inspire ourselves and each other,

For an acceptance of diversity and brotherhood,

Realizing that all share a unique universe and neighborhood!

Let us beautify this planet one-by-one with global solidarity,

Where peace within powers beyond, till eternity!
