Kiran Shelke: Nothing is Impossible!
There are many things that seem impossible only so long as one does not attempt them.

Kiran Shelke: Nothing is Impossible!

“There are no #secrets to #success. It is the #result of #preparation, hard work, and learning from #failures”

This beautiful quote suits this EduBridger ??!

In a world where people (be it working professionals or students) constantly keep complaining about lack of resources due to which they are failing to succeed in their lives, this man has proved that “Nothing is Impossible”. He is a self-made person, who once had nothing but the #zeal to always learn something new and grow in his #career. Meet our Senior Manager - Training Excellence, Kiran Shelke .

Kiran was born and brought up in a small village, Thangaon in Maharashtra with a population of barely 1300. Kiran completed his schooling till 7th grade at a government school where there were no appropriate teachers. He got into high school from 8th grade where he came to know about his strengths – Mathematics! He used to travel for about 40 kilo meters every day due to the absence of transportation in his village for his college. He used to learn on his own, but still, never did he complain about it.

He wasn’t just a student in his childhood. Due to feeble financial situations, he used to do work on weekends to support his father in handling the finances. Post-schooling, Kiran became 3rd person in his village to ever choose science as a specialization. There, he aced in PCM and scored really well; once again all self-study. In spite of his relatives telling his father to get him on job post 12th, Kiran took admission at one of the #polytechnic colleges; wherein he became the first student to clear the complete course without any ATKT. He understood his passion to teach when he used to take late-night sessions for his friends, he said with an added smile.

Kiran joined in “VIT Polytechnic college” in Maharashtra as Assistant Professor in 2011 after completing his #engineering in Computer stream. Then, he was promoted as an In-charge HOD in about 3 years’ time where he was managing Computer Science Department. He left this job in 2018 and moved to #Nasik post his marriage along with his wife and joined #adityabirlagroup Group as an IT Instructor. Kiran was approached by #niit to join them as an Academic Mentor in 2019. He took this job to cater to the financial commitments he had during the time. After spending 15 months in NIIT, Kiran got a call from EduBridge to join as a Training Excellence Manager.

Kiran joined EduBridge in 2020 as Senior Training Excellence Manager. The best part was that he got this opportunity during pandemic where companies were laying off their employees.

Kiran was happy to share his experience as an EduBridger. He said “I am grateful to this company and the kind of exposure I got after joining”. Every day is learning. The best part of working with EduBridge is #workfromhome option. He said this allows him to work for more hours and also, he can be with the family all the time.

?When asked about his family, he smiled and said that “We are blessed with a princess 5 months ago”. Kiran has a family of 4 which includes his wife, a son and daughter. And his family at village consist of his father, mother, 2 brothers and their families.

Kiran is a #spiritual person. His day starts with prayers to God. He finds time to visit a temple everyday located nearby his community and spend time there. He also loves to #travel along with his friends. On weekends he generally plans travel to nearby places.

In #Ramayana, as Shri Laxman in his communication with Shri Ram, said, “Only the timid and the weak leave things to destiny but the strong AND the self-confident never bank on destiny or luck.”; even Kiran didn’t leave things to his destiny and luck. He chose to become something and alter his life with pure dedication and hard work. This a true example of becoming a champion without any resources.

Kiran is a true #motivation to many who come from a small place and still can be at this position today. I saw a different side of Kiran when I connected with him to know about his journey so far. It is truly inspiring to know about him.

Kiran, keep doing the good work to reach the heights of success. We wish you the best of luck in all your future endeavors!
