“The Kingdom of God.” - Matthew 6:33.

???Scripturally speaking,?the kingdom of God is a divine realm, by which “He’s “the?Undeniable Sovereign Head over all creations.”?And to this the?psalmist said,?“The?Lord?hath prepared His throne in the heavens; and His kingdom ruleth over all”?- Psalm 103:19. King Nebuchadnezzar had to learn the hard way through an?interpret?dream that,?“...God’s kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and His dominion is from generation to generation” - Daniel 4:3. So, it’s inclusive?that “every authority that exists”?including?“kings,” “queens,” “presidents,”?and even?“managers at McDonald's,”?has been “established by God,”?(Romans 13:1), therefore,?“the kingdom of God”?includes “everything that is.”?

??The kingdom of God,?“is a spiritual rule”?that reigns?“over the hearts”?and?“lives of those”?“who willingly submit to His sovereign authority.”??With this mind-set we’re shown that?“the kingdom of God is spiritual.?To this Jesus said?“My kingdom is not of this world...,?(John 18:36),?and for that?cause, He?preached?“repentance,”?“for the kingdom of heaven of heaven is at hand” - Matthew 4:17.?

But to?enter into?the kingdom of God?“you must be born again,”?(John 3:5-7),?and to this the Apostle Paul said,?“Know ye not that the?unrighteous?shall not inherit the kingdom of God? - 1 Corinthians 6:9. So, the Kingdom of God is “inclusive of?the entire universe”?where?“He reigns supreme,”?and?“Jesus Christ is King.”?The concept of the Kingdom of God?isn’t?one related to?“space,” “territory,”?or “one that governs “by political rule,”?but?rather one of?“kingly?rule,” “reign,”?and?“sovereign control.”?

??The Kingdom of God is one of the key elements of the teachings of Jesus in the New Testament. So, drawing on Old Testament teachings,?“the Christian characterization”?of the?“relationship between God?and?humanity,”?involves the purpose of?“the Kingship of God.”?That’s?why He said in Matthew 6:33,?“But seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you.”?

God knows that “worry” “entraps the heart” and “fear fractures faith,” which can cause a believer “to spiral down into a pit of despair.” But as Dr. H.D. Washington said,?“God’s?omniscience,”?that’s?“un-settling,”?also knows that?“we have daily needs.”?And?throughout Scripture “He has given many precious promises”?that assures believers?“that He’ll be our Provider”?for?“all the needs,”?and?“necessities of life,”?if?we’ll?“simply trust?Him.”?

So, instead of?“seeking first the things of this world,”?through?“our own effort,”?we’re?urged “to seek God first,” and to?“develop a right perspective,” to exchange?“natural thinking”?for?“godly thinking.”?So,?“as we trust Him to fulfil His promise to provide for our needs,?remembering that, “He?is able to?do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think,”?let us take the words of Jesus to heart?“to seek God first,”?and make Him our?main focus,?“today”?and?“every day.”
