Spotted: David, anointed as king, but waiting in the wilderness!
Hey Kingdom family,
David’s story (1 Samuel 16) is a powerful reminder that God’s timing is perfect. Anointed as a young shepherd, David had to wait years before taking the throne. In the meantime, he faced giants (literally), served a jealous king, and hid in caves.
Through it all, David stayed faithful, trusting that God’s promise would be fulfilled in due time.
Life Link: Waiting is hard. But like David, remember that every season—no matter how difficult—is preparation for the promise.
??Weekly Spill: Resting in God’s Timing
Scripture of the Week:
I waited patiently for the Lord; he turned to me and heard my cry. — Psalm 40:1 (NIV)
