King Street West welcomes Isabelle’s, a cocktail club made to party
Freehouse Collective announces its latest concept – a lounge and cocktail club opened in late December on the second floor at 548 King Street West. The newest King West haunt is the sister location to the notoriously popular Isabelle’s in Vancouver’s Yaletown, which opened in March.
Isabelle's will feature a considered and unapologetically strong cocktail program, table service and curated music complemented by an art-driven design reminiscent of an open-style loft found in Brooklyn by way of London.
“Isabelle’s is our first Toronto project since coming out of lockdown, and the energy couldn’t be more alive in this city,” says designer Ricky Alvarez. “We’ve married this lofty, bright and beautiful design with some darkly creative edge and bohemian overtones in a very functional space that reminds me of a fashionable kitchen party. Isabelle’s is going to meet that energy by putting lips and feet to work.”
Destined to be the center of King West nights – Isabelle’s will kick the weekends off early on Thursdays with open-format sounds from DJ Intrinity, followed by Cale Granton and Lincoln Baio on Friday and Saturday, respectively.
Isabelle’s is available for private groups and corporate events from Sunday through Wednesday. It celebrates it grand opening this Thursday, January 19th with sounds by Felix Cartal.
