King & Justus Abundance Day announces the launch of AD Schools

King & Justus Abundance Day, the world’s first and only total abundant wellbeing solution, is excited to announce the launch of AD Schools.

“Total Abundant Wellbeing is just as important as academics, if not more important,” says Norm Harshaw, CEO of King & Justus Abundance Day and the head of AD Schools, which aims to work with educators in 10,000 schools worldwide. “Today’s students – our future leaders – are experiencing more anxiety and stress than ever before.”

Sadly, teachers are also experiencing more anxiety and stress. As a result, more teachers are bringing this stress into the classroom and quitting. All of this negatively impacts kids’ ability to learn and their educational experience.

The greater reason why AD Schools’ main focus in schools is total abundant wellbeing is to teach them how to love, live, give, and enjoy in all 12 areas of life:

  • Spiritual Growth
  • Personal Transformation
  • Emotional Wellbeing
  • Love Relationship
  • Family
  • Work/School (academic achievement, etc.)
  • Fun & Leisure
  • Friends & Social Circle (social wellbeing, etc.)
  • Physical Health
  • Giving (volunteering, community work, service learning, etc.)
  • Financial Abundance
  • Home Environment

Starting this fall, King & Justus Abundance Day is piloting AD Schools, to be rolled out initially with 100 children and 100 teachers. Abundance Day: The Four Laws that Guarantee Abundance for Every Human, the playbook for “the ultimate 24-hour experience,” includes four modules and abundance-altering activities.

Monique Justus, co-founder of King & Justus, says, “It can change the trajectory of the whole day. But let’s not stop there. Students are our future leaders, and this will equip and empower them to be fully expressed, with significance.”

AD Schools will look at total self-care and total well-being among teachers as well as students. And this is crucial, especially since we know that anxiety among teachers can be passed straight to students.

There was a 2016 study from the University of British Columbia in which researchers analyzed saliva samples from more than 400 Vancouver-area elementary-school students. They discovered that in classrooms where teachers reported more exhaustion and burnout, students’ levels of cortisol – a hormone produced in response to stress – were higher. “So, it’s absolutely vital that we focus on everyone in the classroom,” says Mr. Harshaw.

Over the next year, the pilot will be evaluated by the first 100 students and 100 teachers participating, and their feedback will be used to make the learning experience more “rich, fun, and transformative,” according to Mrs. Justus, before they bring it to more schools worldwide.

The pilot is supported by the King & Justus Third 8 Foundation, a charity focused on solving abundance for humanity. “We’re also looking for the right partners who want to get involved with AD Schools,” says Mr. Harshaw.

“Our partners come to us because of a passion for total abundant well-being,” says Mrs. Justus. “And every one comes to us knowing that parents, teachers, and students care about total abundant wellbeing, that we have a large reach, and that we can make sure their efforts have an impact.”
