To respond to market changes quickly, you need to understand where your property stands at. To do that, follow these 3 steps:

  1. See what hotels in your location match your star rating, price range, and target market.
  2. Match your room categories with what your competitors have. Compare FF&E, room areas, and bed size.?
  3. Check how your rates for these categories differ from theirs. Do this regularly, especially before the season change and local events.

MAKE A LIST OF LOCAL EVENTS FOR THE WHOLE YEAR

List all the sports and cultural events that can affect your hotel’s occupancy. This will help to forecast the demand and adjust prices.

FILL OUT YOUR SOCIAL MEDIA PROFILE

  • A username should match your hotel name. If it’s already taken, then add “hotel” or your city to it.
  • For a profile photo, upload your hotel’s logo.
  • In the bio, write your unique selling proposition or the best deal you offer.
  • Add a phone number and email to your profile, so people can quickly contact you. If you have a business profile, customize the communication buttons.?
