When we look at so many of the successes we have achieved in life, it is always important to remember the vessels that have served to drive us to the world in the first place, our parents. Our parents are the vessels that have brought us from nowhere to somewhere, the vessel that has helped guide, protect and nourish us from the time when we had nothing to the time when we have something. Our parents are indeed our greatest asset and as such, we should never take them lightly.
We never truly know what we have until we have it no more and that is how useful our parents are. They are so important that we would never know how much they mean to us until we have them no more. The immense value and importance they have in our lives can never be understated. As such, we need to do as much as we can to always make them feel useful and important all the time. Providing them with all that we can while we can is a very important thing we need to do and keep doing for our parents. They do not even have to ask before you give them what you definitely believe they are in need of.
The investments our parents have done for us can never be repaid, but we must try to do at least as little as we can to always pay back the goodness they have showered on us. Find time from your schedule to always reach out to them as often as possible. If you can, reach out to them every day. You might feel you are so grown and old now, but to your parents, you are no different from that little kid that was born yesterday. You continue to look and appeal to them as a child who would always need to be with his/her parents. And all they ask for in return is to love and care for them as much as they did for us when we were kids. Understand that whatever you do is what you would receive in the future if you do good, you would receive good and if you do otherwise, then you should expect nothing less than that.
The love parents share with their kids is that love parents have no choice over. They have been naturally joined to us through an unbreakable bond, so we must do all that we can towards making sure that they enjoy this bond. If parents had the choice to choose their kids, they probably might have sought for something different, but no matter what they had, they loved it unconditionally. Having kids is like a relationship, you want to be sure that the other person is the right match for you before you move on, but our parents did not have that choice of studying and knowing you are a good match, all they did was to love you unconditionally. Loving unconditionally is indeed very hard, and they did it anyway. May God continue to bless and guide our parents. They are truly our heroes and the loves of our lives.
If you get anything from this, it is to always love, care and cherish your parents. Call them frequently and keep in touch. Let them be your best friends and always find new ways to make them happy. If you are in a relationship, you always want to find new ways to make your partner know that you love them, do the same for your parents. Care for them so much they really enjoy life. Be with them so much that they really cherish the day you were born. The goodness we can do for our parents is limitless. So please keep doing all that you can to make them as happy as possible.
As you finish this, if your parents are alive, reach out to them immediately. If they are no more, say a prayer for them and reach out to their friends or relatives. Do something you know your parents would have been proud of. If you never knew or met your parents, go out there and do something for someone today. Something that whoever your parents were, they would be happy to see you do the same thing.
The beauty of life is not in how much we have helped ourselves, it is in how much we have made an impact in the lives of others. That is what truly matters. Our parents have made the most important impact on us, having us here in the first place. Show some love, care for your parents and we would be happy in the end we did that.
Thanks for reading and God bless.
