Leadership with Kindness: Why It Matters More Than Ever.

Kindness is not a sign of weakness, it's a sign of strength. It takes courage to be vulnerable, to be empathetic, and to genuinely care about your team members. When you lead with kindness, you create a space where people feel safe to take risks, share their ideas, and learn from their mistakes.

7 个月Gautam, Thank you for emphasizing the importance of leading with kindness and sharing the video. Your post serves as a valuable reminder that kindness is not just a moral imperative but also a strategic advantage in leadership. Adding to your insightful post, research from MIT Sloan suggests that a toxic culture is the number one reason people leave an organization. Toxicity can manifest in various ways, such as lack of respect, micromanagement, and lack of transparency. On the other hand, we have seen organizations with high employee engagement and trust resulting in higher productivity and profitability. When the going gets tough, staying positive and being empathetic to people around can help build trust and unity to help sail through those tough times. I would like to add this quote from Mark Twain -"Kindness is a language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see.”
