Kimberly Shannon From Giant Eagle, Inc. To Judge At USA Ratings

We are excited to announce that Kimberly Shannon, a beer, wine, and liquor specialist at Giant Eagle, Inc., will be joining the esteemed panel of judges for the USA Wine Ratings 2023 competition. With over 16 years of experience in the wine and spirits industry, Kimberly brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the table.

As the Corporate Beer, Wine & Liquor Specialist for a large independently owned grocery chain headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pa. and spanning 5 states, Kimberly's role includes shelf selection, staff education, and working with distributor partners to create and execute programming across the chain. Her WSET level 3 advanced certification, along with the Certified Specialist of Spirits certificate from the Society of Wine Educators, and the title of Certified Cicerone, make her a highly qualified judge for this competition.

Kimberly is passionate about her work and truly enjoys her time spent on the sales floor working directly with team members and assisting guests. In her free time, she enjoys travel, cooking, hosting dinner parties, spending time with her family, and playing golf with her husband of 23 years.

With Kimberly joining the panel of judges, the competition for the USA Wine, Beer, and Spirits Ratings 2023 promises to be even more exciting. This is a fantastic opportunity for all wineries, distilleries, and breweries to showcase their products to industry professionals and consumers, and we encourage all producers to enter their products before the April 28th deadline.
