The Latest Tea on The Incubator Challenge
We’re slowly coming to the final stage of the Incubator Challenge. What’s the latest news in there?
The challenge began 6 weeks ago with 27 participants, and after two weeks, eliminations narrowed it down to 13 participants. Now, the strongest 7 participants have leveled up and are still in the game, already refining and testing their startup ideas in the realms of gut health and wellness.
During this time, participants had a chance to learn all the secrets in workshops and get countless consultations from the Kilo Health experts.
Let's also highlight the diverse backgrounds of these incredible individuals — some have traveled from Latvia, France and Colombia to participate in the challenge, while others balance their careers in medicine, nutrition, and marketing, all striving to develop successful products.?
May the most ambitious win and stay tuned for further updates!
Innovators Aren’t Magicians
Our Head of Innovations, Matas Olendra , wrote a blog post about innovators and generating ideas. Did you miss it?
No worries, here's a reminder. It's a very informative and fun read that will be a great addition to your day; we can promise you that. Or, as Matas would say:
“Not a single top innovator or creator in the world was a magician or possessed superpowers. They simply followed principles that helped them reach their solutions.”
Here’s the link to find the exact principles and maybe… steal them.
Kilo Health People at Conferences
Kristina Soltonaite, our Event Manager, spoke at the IDEA PRIMA conference, discussing whether internal organizational events are driven by "trends," fashion, or by listening to people, and what value they create for employees and employers.

One of Kristina's key points is:
"As long as we combine work with a pleasant atmosphere, a desire to communicate with colleagues, and develop communication not only on work-related matters, then there will be a greater initiative to collaborate on work-related issues. Hence, work and culture should be intertwined."
Santa ?emait? , our People Partner, also spoke at an American Chamber of Commerce in Lithuania conference about "what a modern employer offers vs. what employees actually want."
She highlighted how Kilo Health is an all-inclusive workplace, drawing parallels between the office and a vacation in a hotel. Santa also discussed how we categorize the employee experience into three stages:
Let’s shift our focus to Litexpo. During the study and career conference, Ieva Bruk?tut? , our Head of Recruitment, talked about the importance of embracing AI in our work.?
She made a point that if ‘you’re not using AI yet, you’ll fall behind.’ However, she reassured us that AI isn't about replacing humans but about empowering those who use it and also shared some tips on how to get started with AI and how it can bring benefits. Do you think Ieva is onto something?
Last but not least, Mantas Ratomskis , our Lifecycle management & CRM specialist, took the stage at Optimove Connect.?
He delved into the topic of CRM, touching on aspects like complexity, compliance, technology, and its perceived role in business operations. According to him, there's no one-size-fits-all solution; it's all about the daily grind.

Based on these mystical insights, we'd love to assist you by recommending some top reads.
Our Director for Engineering in Digital Wellness, Phil Bennett , wrote a book called “Punk Leadership: Screaming Together In The Same Direction.” As he describes it: “At first, it is a helpful analogy for forming teams to use a “keep this simple and maximize what you have available” mentality. The more I read and researched Punk history, the more remarkable stories I found that paralleled the leadership styles I believe in.”
